Keepsake Box: Pat-a-pan

Cut from heavy weight 80# card stock, the Ribbon Keepsake Box is perfect as a gift box or as a keepsake box to store your precious mementos and small trinkets.

The box is decorated with approx. 55 inches of grosgrain ribbon, featuring a lovely handmade tailored bow on the lid. The interior of the lid and bottom of the box have been lined with a second sheet of heavy weight 80# card stock that I have embossed with a Fleur-de-lis pattern.

For the lid of the box, I used a laser printer to print both sides of the paper with the French lyrics of the French Christmas carol “Pat-a-pan” which was originally published back in 1720:
